Our story
Built on the mats in Atlanta.
Ruggeda® started where most jiu-jitsu stories start: on the mats. We’re a husband-and-wife team, and we both train at J3 Academy in Milton, Georgia, alongside the same people who wear our gear.
Training with a team every week, you see how much an academy’s identity matters. The colors, the name on the gi, the shirt you wear to a tournament. So we started making gear for the academy: gis, rash guards and shorts in each team’s own designs, with the Ruggeda name on every piece.
Today Ruggeda outfits academies and the students who train in them, and makes its own line for every grappler who wants gear built for daily training. We’re a family business from Atlanta, and we build every academy design together with the people who will wear it.
